"I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who had given me strength, that he considered me faithful, appointing me to his service". 1 Tim. 1:12

      This year has definitely been one to remember. Our lives have been impacted due to the changes in the economical, political  and spiritual realm. In these end times we're living in we need to draw as close to the Lord and His precious Word as possible. We have to be fully equipped with His armor ready to be used in the gifts. 

     YABS started in 2009 with a focus in His Spiritual Gifts, we read the book "Flowing in the Holy Spirit" by Rodney M. Howard-Browne. We enjoyed this book, it explained in detail the differences between spiritual gifts, and made us aware that these gifts are freely given to us as the Lord Wills. 

"Command and teach these things. Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in live, in love, in faith and in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of scripture, to preaching and to teaching. Do not neglect your gift...." 1 Tim 4:11-14

      The Lord put in our hearts to start collecting and distributing clothes to the community. We gave out clothes in front of the church and also participated in the MOAT. We're still involved with Love Inc. We participated in their auction (fundraiser) to raise month for their ministry. This year we also had a fundraiser; Mother of Pearl. This fundraiser was to honor the mother's at Calvary Assembly of God; it was a mini spa treatment that turned out to be so much fun we plan to have it every year. 

     God's direction, wisdom and peace has manifested in our lives this year, as young adults certain decisions like going to college, moving, changing careers and marriage have surfaced in our lives, and God is seeing us through these decisions. It takes a lot of faith and perseverance to follow closely the plan God has for us. Ultimately, we learn He's in control, He has to much in store for us because He is good. This year He has truly shown us that, though sometimes we don't understand what is going on He never fails to show us His Glory. We are excited for this coming year; we are learning to lean unto Him and now our own understanding.

"Let us draw near with a TRUE HEART in FULL ASSISTANCE of FAITH having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering for HE who promised if FAITHFUL". Heb 10:22, 23

     YABS plans to be more involved in our church functions. We desire to somehow be involved in all the other ministries in our church; we LOVE our church body and pray that God unifies us in the spirit. This next year we want to be a blessing to the community and to the body of Christ, I thank you for your prayer for this ministry.
