Mission Statement:

Matthew 25: 31-40

When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, the He will sit on the throne of His glory.  All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.  And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.  Then the King will say to those on His right hand, “Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me”. Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, “Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take you in, or naked and clothe You? Or  when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?” And the King will answer and say to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me”.

Why we do what we do:

We are called to encourage our brothers and sisters who are incarcerated by worshiping with them and sharing the Word of God.  To let them know that they are not forgotten and that they are just as important to the Lord as you and I.

This ministry consists of worship, prayer and intersession, testimonies, preaching, drama, encouraging words, and much more.  Prison ministry may not be for everyone, but for those who are called, their lives are changed forever.

The Lord truly moves in the hearts and lives of these men, women, and children.  To see the Spirit so openly welcomed into each service is spectacular.  No service is ever the same.

Many of these men and women come to know the Lord while in prison, and it has changed their lives.  This change begins to spread throughout their families.  Many have become Pastors, Associate Pastors, Evangelists, Missionaries, and the list goes on, all because of the people who have given their time and prayers to those that have been forsaken by the world.

It is not uncommon to see the manifested Spirit of God in the chapel services.  Children of God who walked into a service because there was nothing else to do, end up leaving filled with the Holy Ghost and fire.

Tangible miracles happen on a regular basis.  Addictions, alternative lifestyles, habits are left at the altar and a new child in Christ is born.

We have seen men and women who have never stepped foot into a church their entire life slain under the power of God and changed dramatically.  We have witnessed the effects of a stroke healed instantly.  We have been blessed by the miracle of a crippled arm restored to new in front our eyes.

These are a few of the testimonies given by the men and women that God has truly touched with His love:

Our Chapel is wonderfully busy.  We’re eagerly anticipating two new, actually three, Bible studies.  ‘Evangelism Explosion (levels 1 & 2)’, ‘Revelation by Precept Ministry’, and Chap’s starting one I’m really excited about ‘The Purpose Driven Life’ based on Rick Warren’s book.  I’ve wanted to read that book for a long time.  Please join me in prayer that we can have enough books donated for the study, We’ll register about 120 ladies!

“…I really want to change my life!  I’ve burned every bridge with all my family and friends.  I feel so alone!  You see, all my life, all I have ever done is steal and use drugs.  I am tired of prison.  I am 26 years old, I’ve spent 3 out of the last 4 years in prison, and I want to change!  I have a lot of pain and guilt inside that I am trying real hard to let go.  I have all this right on my shoulders.  Please pray that God open the doors for me to change my heart and life so that I can be a good father to my kids!  Thank you, but most of all thank you for being there to open this letter and for all the help you give to the people in places like this…”

”The Lord has healed my wife from diabetes and healed my marriage.  I love him with all my heart, soul, and mind.  My whole life has changed so much”

“… I truly believe with all my heart that God knows what I need and because of that I say…

 I was not arrested… I was rescued”
